Fun Firsts!

  • Got first guitar at 3 yrs old (a plastic KISS Destroyer Toys-R-Us model).
  • The first song I learned was ‘Willy and The Po Boys’ by CCR at age 5.
  • My first concert was Iron Maiden in 1988 at The Cap Centre.
  • Won first place in the High School Hot Licks Guitar contest in 1990 while still in middle school.
  • First band was ‘Perfect Angels’ with a bunch of seniors at LaPlata High School. I was still in 8th grade. (I went to get shirts made for the band and misspelled them ‘Perfect Angles’).
  • Went to first Phish concert 11/22/95 at USAir Arena, formerly the Cap Centre.
  • First real band performance not in a storage shed was with Swamp Dog 4/1/98 at Towson University.
  • First professionally recorded album due out this Fall!
